Amanda & Momin's Wedding | A Backyard Wedding in Vienna, VA

On September 25th, 2021, Amanda and Momin got married at St. Mark Catholic Church and celebrated with a backyard reception in Vienna, Virginia.

This wedding was particularly special for G&N Events because Amanda and Momin have been friends with Giulia's husband since college! It was such a privilege to be able to help them with their magical day.

Amanda and her bridesmaids started the day off by getting their hair and makeup done by Sundown & Rise Up before heading to the church.

All photographs were taken by the lovely Reel Film and Media.

Amanda and Momin's wedding was held at St. Mark Catholic Church, a beautiful church in Vienna, Virginia. The stunning, colorful florals were provided by Karin's Florist.

I love their fun, playful photos! How cute are these two?!

After the wedding ceremony (and a dress change!), Amanda and Momin had a tented reception at Amanda's family home in Vienna, Virginia.

The tent, dance floor, and all other rentals were provided by Brooke Rental and the reception was staffed by Brittany's Fancy Events. Delicious food was provided by the food truck On Brazilian Time with some additional plates from Filipino Global, which was such a great (and yummy!) way to blend Amanda and Momin's different cultures.

Amanda's family not only used their outdoor space for dinner and dancing under the tent, but they also used an area around back as a secondary hang out spot! This hidden area had games, string lights, fire pits, and additional seating and drinks.

The bride and groom had such a unique idea for their dinner tables. Not only did each table have its own colorful table runner, but they also had pins that Amanda and Momin created using illustrations that guests had digitally drawn for them on their interactive wedding website! Guests were encouraged to share and trade pins, accessorize with them, and take them home at the end of the night. Additionally, instead of traditional place cards, Amanda and Momin used rocks from the river to indicate each guest's table and even added fabric details on each one that matched the table's runner!

The evening included traditional Filipino dancing with bamboo poles, the limbo, a conga line, and even some karaoke! The DJ, Black Tie Entertainment, made sure the dance floor was never empty!

The couple showcased their guests talents yet again with their beautiful (and equally delicious) cake which was made by one of Amanda's friends.

Congratulations, Amanda and Momin! It was truly an honor to be able to plan such a fun wedding with you!
